The results of cinema 2010 No. 1
Friends, 2020 is coming to an end. To say that this year has been difficult is an understatement. There were a lot of shocks, bad news, unpleasant events, and so on and so forth.
But, traditionally, I am not going to recall the bad things in these results, and I consider the purpose of this article not only to go through the current film projects that are worthy of attention, but also to show you that despite everything, film lovers had something to distract themselves during the year. The film industry entertained us as much as it could: large-scale virtual events with exclusive announcements, new TV series and, if possible, films.
I remind you that due to the fact that some films reach our distribution somewhat later, there are films from 2019 that Ukrainian viewers could see only in 2020.
Unfortunately, here I will slightly change the format and not split movies and TV series by genre. The fact is that there can sometimes be one project for the entire genre, so I decided to describe films and TV series in the order of their release. If you like this format better than the previous one, then let me know for the future.
And now, without too much chatter, I suggest making sure that there was something to see in 2020.
One of the shocks in 2020 was the Black Lives Matter movement, which had many supporters and opponents. As I promised, I will not recall the bad things, and even more so, I will not delve into the details of this conflict. This lyrical digression leads to the following opinion: if BLM was not perceived by everyone, then I know a wonderful movie that perfectly reveals the issue of racism and justice in this regard.
The film "Judging by conscience" impressed me very pleasantly. This is partly due to the fact that I did not expect anything extraordinary from him, and of course, what I saw in the end. The tape captures us in a web of injustice and introduces us to very well-played and interesting characters that you worry about, root for, and hate. The plot captures with each new scene and makes you think about humanity. There are quite a lot of very strong emotions in the film and the staging of scenes that touch a nerve and cause an influx of emotions. During the film, I had at least two moments where I almost cried, both from sadness and joy.
